Monthly Events

January:

  • Winter Carnival: Post Christmas month can be long and sort of a downer after the Christmas and New year festivities. So, we hold a carnival with fun for all. Adults make sure the children have a wonderful time. The adults have a wonderful time watching the children being excited


.February:

  • Kids Valentines Craft Day: Family fun making crafts with the kids. Snacks and Drinks Provided. Registration is required along with a $5 craft fee. 2/3/19 1200 pm


  • Farmers Market: Local food and crafters selling throughout the year. Saturdays Starting 2/2/19  9 am to 1 pm 


  • Food Truck Saturdays: Starts 2/2 11 am to 2 pm  8 local food trucks with a variety of great foods.


March:

  • Pancake Supper: This kicks off the season of Lent. Pancakes are consumed, friendships enjoyed and then we worship with our Ash Wednesday service with its marking of asked on out foreheads.   3/6/19 @ 6 pm
  • Supermarket Bingo: Come and pay some fun and exciting BINGO to win some bags of groceries. No need to food shop this weekend ! 3/8/19 @ 6:30pm


April:

  • Spring Clean Up:  This is when we all get together to beautify the church grounds. Getting it ready for all the of the exciting months ahead. TBD

    Basket Auction: The winter is dragging on and it is time for some easy going fun. Members prepare baskets to be “auctioned” at this annual event. The basket designers/ donators are always interested to see who is attracted to their creations! We have over 125 baskets! This is one of our best fundraisers! 4/13/19 @ 6 pm 


May:

  •  Community Yard Sale: The HUGE yard sale brings in people from all over long island to sell their items and for people of the community to come together and enjoy a treasure hunt of their own. 5/18 12-4


  • Mother’s Day Tea: Beautiful Tea party set up to honor all moms after each service on the Sunday before Mother’s Day. 5/12 @11:30

June  

  • Bus trip: These one-day guided bus trips vary. We have visited Philadelphia, done walking tours of the city, Hudson Valley Tours and More.


July

  •  Fishing Trip: Off we go to Captree. Our chartered boat fills and we enjoy homemade lunches as well as fishing. The sunset is incredible and worth the trip.
  • Vow Renewal: We also celebrate couples on one of the Julys Sundays as they renew their vows complete with a mini wedding service and wedding reception to follow.


August 

  • Vacation Bible School: A week long adventure learning about Jesus for all kids to join. July 29th to August 2nd 9 am to 12pm $25 per child 
  • Fall Clean Up:  This is when we all get together to beautify the church grounds. Getting it ready for all the of the exciting months ahead.

    End of Summer Bash: This event is a ton of fun with music and a BBQ, as we gather with family, friends and neighbors to celebrate the end summer. Please register in lobby and all are asked to bring a side dish. $7 pp or $28 per family of four or more August 18th 12 pm 


September 

  • The Blessing of the Animals: This service is very special experience. Animals are also God’s creations. So please make sure to include your extended non–human family members. September 22nd @ 1130 am


  • October
    Pumpkin Patch: Come and Experience one of the Largest Church Sponsored Pumpkin Patches.10/4-10/29  


November / December

  • Christmas tree lot: It is with great excitement that the day after Thanksgiving the Christmas tree Lot opens to the public. Our teens do most of the work and their spirit is infectious!
  • OPEN 11-9 DAILY
  • Christmas Craft Fair: This awesome event is the kick off to Christmas and holiday shopping. Over 25 vendors of all types of crafts and gifts, food and fellowship…  December 7th 11-3
