This to shall pass
I am writing this in hopes that we can come together collectively and keep our Church doors open via the many methods we are employing remotely in this time of uncertainty. If there is one thing, I have learned over the past three years of being part of this community is that we the members of this congregation, are loving, kind, compassionate and resilient. I’ve also learned that God never loses.
But God needs us to do our part. We are responsible for the effort not the outcome. I am truly blessed that you all adopted me three years ago when I came home to take care of my Mom. Little did I know that God had bigger plans for me, my life and my Church.
I have never witnessed a Church with more love, dedication, devotion, compassion and the will to want to help others. We have made differences in so many people’s lives and will continue to do so moving forward. God is so much bigger than this virus and will make good out of this situation. Whatever we focus on grows, so keep your eyes upon Jesus and not the virus. Continue to do the very best you can in reaching out and helping others while practicing smart social distancing.
Continue to say yes to Jesus, not necessarily yes to everyone else. Thank Him in the morning and ask for His guidance and direction for the day. Thank Him for the courage and strength to stand right where we are and know that God IS!!! He will never leave us nor forsake us.
“I’m bringing God, Who you bringing?”
Please help us continue to do God’s work. I know that these times are concerning but I do not know where I would be without our Church and all the members that make up our Church family. I’m blessed beyond measure to be part of the best community EVER.
